Frequently Asked Questions

How do I log in as a student?

Use your Student ID and default password, both found on your registration receipt from ALC. You will be asked to set a new password on first login.

How do I log in as an instructor or staff member?

Use your email address and the password provided by ALC administration. If you haven't received your credentials, contact your ALC administrator.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

Staff members (instructors, admins) can use the "Forgot Password" link on the login screen to receive a reset code via email. Students should contact ALC administration to have their password reset.

How do I register as a parent?

On the login screen, tap "Register as Parent." You'll need to verify your child's Student ID and password first, then create your own account with your name, email, and password.

How do I disable push notifications?

Go to Settings in the app and toggle off Push Notifications. You can also disable notifications from your device's system settings under the ALC Connect app.

How do I delete my account?

Visit our Account Deletion page for step-by-step instructions, or contact ALC administration directly.

Who can I message in the app?

Students can message their instructors and coordinators. Parents can message instructors of their linked children and coordinators. Coordinators can message any user in their center and create group conversations. Instructors can reply within conversations they are part of. Administrators have read-only access.

What file types can I share?

You can share images (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP) and documents (PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, XLS, XLSX) up to 10MB per file.
